Chairman's Scholarship

  • » Students with JEE Main rank below 1000 will be awarded a scholarship equivalent to 100% of the tuition fees.
  • » Students with JEE Main rank between 1000-2000 will be awarded a scholarship equivalent to 50% of the tuition fee.

Eligibility criteria for continuation of this Scholarship scheme:

  • » Maintain a CGPA of 7.5
  • » May have a maximum of 1F grade (in two semesters, in an academic year).
  • » They should not have a Plagiarism case.
  • » If a student cannot complete the degree requirements in 4 years, he/she will not get this scholarship in the extended semesters.
  • » During Semester leave the Scholarship will not be applicable, however the students will be eligible for total of 8 active semesters.

Women Empowerment Scholarship in STEAM Education (WESSE)

Top 100 female students who scored more than 95% aggregate marks in the XII Board Exam, and gets admission to IIIT-Delhi in any B.Tech. program will be granted a scholarship equivalent to 50% of the tuition fee provided the candidate is not eligible to get any other scholarship from a Government source. If a candidate is eligible to get any other scholarship from a government source, they must apply for the same, and the Institute shall be committed to covering only the remainder scholarships.

IIIT-Delhi Merit cum Means Scholarship

IIITD Merit cum Mean Scholarship AY 2023-24 is now revised with a scope to award 100% scholarship to the students meeting the following eligibility criteria;

  • » Students in their 1st, 2nd, 3rd Years and 4th Year will be eligible for this scholarship.
  • » Beneficiary under National Food Security Scheme or Below Poverty Line (BPL) & possess the Card issued under the Scheme.
  • » Except first year, students from all other years should have a CGPA of 7.0 or above with a maximum of 1F grade (in their last two semesters) and not have a plagiarism case.

Fast Retailing Sponsorship Program

IIIT-Delhi has signed an MoU for the education sponsorship program with Fast Retailing Japan. FR is Fast Retailing Co., Ltd. is a public Japanese multinational retail holding company. In addition to its primary subsidiary Uniqlo, it owns several other brands, including J Brand, Comptoir des Cotonniers, GU, Princesse Tam-Tam, and Theory and the world's third-largest apparel manufacturer and retailer.

  • » Under the MoU , Fast Retailing will provide full tuition & dormitory fees covering all four years of a Bachelor's degree program.
  • » The sponsored students will get an opportunity to learn Japanese Language & Culture classes and do summer internship at Uniqlo India.
  • » The sponsored students will also be eligible for a full time offer at Fast Retailing Japan if the student clears their selection criteria’s.

Institute's Laptop Scheme

The Ex-Founding Director & Distinguished Professor, Prof. Pankaj Jalote has launched a Laptop scheme in the year 2020, through which he distributes free Laptops to students who are from economically weaker sections so that they do not face any challenge during their studies at IIITD.

The Institute is moving forward as a community and is firmly on the path towards sustainability and transformation, thereby becoming a globally respected and recognized institution. The management is committed to achieving specific goals to create an environment wherein intellectually capable, innovative, and entrepreneurial professionals are nurtured and trained to work unceasingly to serve the nation and society.

Relief Fund for Students on Humanitarian Grounds

To consider special requests of students on humanitarian grounds, the Institute Board approved to make a special provision of Rs. 50 lakhs in the Budget Estimates of the Institute for the FY 2025-26 onwards.
