Dr. Garima Rani completed her PhD in biophysics from the Institute of Mathematical Sciences, Chennai in 2021. She was awarded the Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) Cross-Disciplinary Fellowship in 2021, which she took up at the University of Luxembourg from 2021-2023 and at the Friedrich Schiller University (FSU) Jena in 2024-25. Her research integrates computational modeling, biophysical techniques, and imaging to understand bacterial growth and form, from subcellular to colony scale.
