Four years seems a long time ago, yet it also feels as if I entered the college yesterday. It's been such a fun filled ride with ups and downs, at IIIT-Delhi. It's given me some of my closest and best friends, amazing teachers and great opportunities. From studying for exams all throughout the night to enjoying hostel life, I have learnt a lot at this place. The past four years have made me a better person. A big thank you to everyone here for making these four years memorable. A special thanks to Pravesh Sir for being a great mentor and guiding me whenever I needed. It's been an honour to study here. Until next time, IIIT!

From deadlines to leisure , from classes to vacations , from project to cricket and of course from CS to HSS it has been a story of finding fun in whatever you do. I enjoyed the daily routine because it was never monotonous. Everyday a new challenge and a new reward. IIITD has been instrumental for my development in all possible ways. I thank all my professors but special thanks to Somitra Sir . HB Sir and Vishwanath Sir. Almost every one in BTech days must have taken help of Sheetu Ma'am and she has been proactive always in helping students so a very special thanks to her. Lastly came in phase1(construction) and left at phase2(construction) and hence I have literally seen IIITD growing :)

I never realized I will miss IIITD this much. Four years seem a long time but when I turn back, it feels that I just entered the college. IIIT has transformed me in a good way. I was never into CS but at last I loved it. Deadlines, course selection, internet, hostel, canteen, college campus. Everything is missed. I guess, no other college helps in this kind of overall development of a student. Not only IIITD has very unique courses but professors here are much more concerned about students than any other college. Whenever I talk to anyone in the industry about what I have learnt in my institute, they get amazed. It's all because what we have learnt here. I really want to thank all my professors for it. Without them I guess it would be impossible for everyone of us to succeed in life. I would like to really thank Puspendra sir, Manish sir, Puneet sir and Visweswaran sir for guiding me. Lastly, special thanks to Sheetu ma'am, Rashmil ma'am, Anshu ma'am, all IT team and Amita Puri ma'am without whom it would be difficult to survive here. An experience of 4 years cannot be expressed in few words. Thanks for everything :)

This institute not only helped me grow but made me learn a lot about life .IIITD over the years changed me as a person for the better . Every person in his life has a transforming agent which changes life altogether, for me it was IIITD . Special thanks to sheetu mam for answering me endless question .

To IIITD, I would say I felt the great significance of being there. Since I joined IIITD, I realized, I grew, I learned, I ventured, and finally I became what I can. The environment, space, academics, learning, workloads, faculty, hostel, speedy internet, and people are none like others, rather been to glowing and are unbelievably liberating. All that tensions, heat ups, courses selection, repeats, overloads, weekly quizzes, submissions are those I'm still remembering. Just, in short, I proudly say that I'm IIITDian apart from being Indian and would like to pass a big 'thank' to director Dr. Pankaj Jalote, professors Dr. PK, Prof. Manohar Khushalani, Mrs. Sheetu and IIITD.

A lot of people have said in a lot of words what we all feel. So I just want to say that if I had to do these four years all over again, I would still chose IIITD. To all my friends- thank you for everything. :)

One of the things I can never forget about IIITD are deadlines. Having so much to finish at same time taught me team work, time management... Also, I would always miss getting together to finish a project, making plans, having fun. All this work taught me to engage more with people. I got opportunity to interact and learn from such great faculty, surely, IIITD made me a better person! Thanks to all who helped me finish this journey of mine :)

I am pursuing a Postgraduate degree in Management from Singapore Management University and it wouldn't have been possible without the excellent academics here at IIITD along with an opportunity to pursue a minor degree in Economics. I would thank IIITD for not only providing excellent technical education, but also for helping me grow in areas like Sociology, Economics, Finance, Digital Art and media and delivering presentations. While being a club coordinator helped me deal with a lot of managerial issues, getting involved in community services changed my perspective towards my long term career goals. I am just a part of the success that belongs as much to my referees (Dr PK and Prof Manohar Khushalani). IIITD will be a part of my soul in all my future endeavors. 

A lot has been said to express everyone's gratitude to the faculty, the Director, and family members but I'd like to take some time to thank the staff and administration members of the institute for their magnitude of hard work, and support for everyone and anyone. Sheetu ma'am, Ashutosh Sir, you're both priceless. Arun Sir is every willing to do his best to make the campus a safer, cleaner, welcoming place for everyone. Everyone at the IT department who manages to put up with the numerous complaints and demands from all us techies. And every single one of the maids, the guards, the sweepers, who are the friendliest of people, ever sincere in their duties, be it waking students up in the morning with a call for cleaning or keeping an eye out for miscreants under piles of blankets on chilly winter nights. You guys deserve a big, big thanks from us all for working all that magic behind the curtains!

I'm writing this from Atlanta where I'm pursuing my MS from Georgia Tech. If it wasn't for my experience in IIITD, I'm certain I wouldn't be here. Forget reaching here, the learning at IIITD gives me the confidence that I'll survive the rigorous education of US grad schools. And from this perspective it amazes me how cutting edge our method, administration and infrastructure is, especially given the context within which our institute operates. There are actually some bits we do better than the top-notch schools here. While I've worked closely with quite a few professors, I think I'm indebted equally to everyone. If it wasn't for the design of our curriculum and assistance of our administration, I would never be sure where my career trajectory is headed. Since I'm at it, I might as well thank my peers. I didn't realise in my first year how much a cohort matters in personal development. Now I'm again in my first year (of grad school) and I know how invaluable it is. Thank you IIITD for raising me in a culture that thrives in the true essence of education.

Our batch witnessed IIITD grow into the new campus, and while that happened, during the 4 years here, I have seen myself develop to become a better version of myself. The quest is still on! The place inspires, and what else could one ask for :) Thanks to all the professors and authorities for all the guidance bestowed.

It doesn't take much to understand the greatness of this institution if one simply observes the growth it has made since its inception. Easily one of the top tech institutes in the country. Thanks to everyone in Admin department, IT Dept for making our journey easier by helping with all the silly stuff and fantastic internet :D . At this point I'd just like to say to IIITD, "May the odds be ever in your favour".

IIITD and my own, both our, academic careers started in 2008 in the campus of NSIT, Delhi. Little did I know that I had been introduced to two of my alma maters on the same day. After I graduated from NSIT, I spent a couple of years in an IT industry job in pursuit of knowledge . I, finally, came into IIITD with the hope of stimulating and challenging myself with the extensive knowledge base that IIIT Delhi had grown into, in the few years since its inception. The very idea of being able to take up any course of one's choice and being in control of what one studies is liberating. I would like to thank my advisors Dr. Mayank Vatsa and Dr. Richa Singh for teaching me most of the things in my current field of interest and for always being there to guide me through these two years. I would also like to thank my peers in my batch and labmates at IAB lab for making the environment at IIITD conducive towards effective learning. Also, the exemplary support and help received from academic administration department throughout these two years deserve a bow. Finally, I would say that coming to IIITD was one of the best decisions I have made till date. And as I head onwards in further pursuit of knowledge, IIITD would always be the place where it all started.

IIITD is the best thing that has happened to me in my entire life. Sadly all good things must come to an end. I can't express how grateful I am for the experiences that I had in the past couple of years at IIITD. Well, its actually the people here that have made this college an extraordinary place. So, I would like to acknowledge a few people. Firstly, I would like to thank Dr. Pankaj Jalote. IIITD is the vision of Dr. Jalote. I had an opportunity to work under him as a TA for CP-1 course. When we used to have conversations, it became pretty obvious to me how focused he is towards his vision. His goal was to get the best out of every student and he was not at all concerned about following traditional practices. We are extremely lucky to have him as our director. All the professors here are pretty awesome. I would like to specially thank Dr. Rahul and Dr. Vinayak. I worked with both of them. They are great in their respective fields. Along with that, they are excellent teachers as well. Working with them was a great experience. Lastly, the students deserve a round of applause. All the students with whom I interacted here are among the coolest people I have ever met. I had heard a lot from my friends at IITs that the undergrad students there look down upon the graduate students. Tell that to an undergrad here and they would laugh their a** off. Really guys it is an honour to have friends like you. A little advice to the graduating students: All the top institutions in the world became great because of their alumni. I am sure you all will do great things in your lives and careers. While you are at it, make sure that people know that IIITD is your alma mater. It will increase IIITD's reputation and visibility, and in turn it will increase your reputation as well.

Thanks to IIITD for making me an IIITIAN. First, I would like to thank Dr Pankaj Jalote for making IIITD, a respected and dignified college.It was a tough decision joining IIITD since it was so far from my home.But now I feel proud and happy to be part of IIITD family. IIITD is one of the best colleges which shows the path for future and gives an enriching experience in all fields and an equal opportunity to everyone to grow and prosper in their future. I am really honoured to have been taught by such great and talented professors.I must mention about the excellent guidance of Dr.Viswanath Gunturi to the students.I am really inspired by him. He has always guided me with my queries.Also thanks to Ashutosh Sir and Sheetu Ma'am for managing and solving our queries and complaints.Never known how and when IIITD became a family for me.It was a lovely fun time with all of my friends at IIITD. Thanks to all my friends for making these two years memorable which will always be cherished by me. Last but not the least I want to thank my parents, without whom the journey of IIITD would not have been possible.

It was the best decision of my life to go to IIITD. Every day, every lecture , every faculty just cemented my faith in the place more and more. The total freedom of choosing your niche is the best thing about IIIT and thanks to that I found my niche and today I can proudly call myself a researcher. I would like to thank every person I met here , for teaching me so much and I don't just mean the teachers. My journey here would have been nothing without my mentor Dr. Angshul Majumdar. He has been the most supportive mentor ever, has never turned me away even when I have gone to him with the silliest of doubts, from choosing subjects to the intricate details of the thesis . Without his guidance I don't think I would have ever gone into research. I would like to thank every faculty member whose lectures I have attended, but a special vote of thanks to Dr. Rahul Purandare for simply being the most amazing person ever. The strangest thing is that I have met only helpful people here at IIIT, not a single person has been anything short of wonderful. Even so, one who stands out among them is (soon-to-be Dr.) Anupriya Gogna. She has been the best support ever. The list would be incomplete without Ashutosh Sir who has been our go-to person for everything in these two years.Thank you so very much. To every person I meet in the world , I proudly endorse my alma mater and will continue doing so, because I don't think it gets better than this! :)

That is what IIIT-Delhi has been for me. And much, much more. It came to be my second home and will remain so for a long time to come. IIIT-Delhi is after all what the people over there have made it and what a great job everyone has done. I would like to thank our director, Dr Pankaj Jalote and the entire management team for bringing IIITD to its current respectable position and for giving me a chance to be a part of it. Special thanks to Ashutosh sir, Sheetu Ma'am, Ravi Bhasin sir and Arun Verma sir for attending to our day to day needs and complaints in IIITD. The best thing about IIIT-Delhi is its professors. They have so much of in-depth understanding and passion for their respective domains and also a deep sense of welfare for their students. I am truly humbled and honoured to have been taught by such professors. I would like thank Dr Viswanath Gunturi for being a very understanding and inspirational mentor and Dr Rahul Purandare, Dr Mayank Vatsa and Dr Richa Singh for being such great teachers and getting me deeply interested in their subjects. Finally, I would like to thank all my friends and batchmates from the bottom of my heart. They made life at IIITD truly worthwhile. It was great to study alongside such smart and intelligent people. From the numerous assignment deadlines to the all-nighters for project submissions to the outings and all the insane fun that we had, I am going to miss it all. I hope in the future we are able to do some of that again someday. Thank you for everything. I will always cherish these two years of MTech life and I will also give back what IIIT-Delhi has given me a hundred times over.

I am really thankful to IIIT for providing such a wonderful platform to learn and devolop our skills. Here we are taught to explore and devolop new things. With so perfect Pool of professors you will never feel out of knowledge here. It gave me freedom to choose and explore my interest. I love.coding and by coming here i enhanced my skills . i can proudly shout that yes i am iiitian . Thank you

This is a place where learning and education are valued greatly and I personally never felt so absorbed and keen to learn and grow, kudos to the culture fostered in the institute. I have complete confidence that IIITD will become an exemplary institute in the coming years. I thank every professor whom I have interacted and worked with and also the administration for their support in every endeavor undertaken. Will always be a proud Alum !

At the very outset, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the phenomenal faculty at IIITD for nurturing our growth as engineers/ programmers /researchers and also for wholesome personal growth, attributed to the cultural committee and several other co-curricular clubs spearheaded by enthusiastic and enterprising fellow students. The institute gave us all the "holy grail" to understand and explore our potential. Though at some point along the course, we might have felt intimidated by the pressure of impending projects or seemingly endless deadlines, if we look back, it all paid off; we are now adept at handling pressure at our respective workplaces. During the course of M.Tech at IIITD, I like most of us, learnt several new technologies and was introduced to new avenues in the field of Computer Science but most importantly, I believe my knowledge has been enriched; our professors ensured that we understand the real difference between theory and practice. Applying the knowledge you have learnt gives a sense of completeness to the process of learning and I learnt this at IIITD. Dr. Pankaj Jalote, our respected Director, has taken painstaking efforts to enable IIITD to grow and prosper as one of the leading engineering and research institutes in the country. I am sure that within a short span of time, IIITD will reach the pinnacle of glory it is destined for. Dr. Pankaj's eloquent speeches and motivational mail messages enabled us to strive harder at our respective "IIITD missions". I'd like to use this opportunity to specially thank Dr. Vinayak Naik, Dr. Richa Singh and Dr. Viswanath Gunturi for their guidance and support throughout the course. I reckon, my interest in the field of machine learning was facilitated and encouraged by Dr. Richa's PR and ML courses which were organised and evaluated to maximise one's learning. Her lectures and examples were always so precise and concise to the extent it made our understanding of a concept stronger with each lecture. I would like to thank Dr. Vinayak for giving me the opportunity to work under him for a thesis that had its roots in two popular fields of computer science, Mobile Sensing and Machine Learning. His guidance, inputs, experience and advice helped me to find a workable solution to an interesting, yet challenging problem. I would also like to express my gratitude to Dr. Viswanath for being instrumental in my thesis as a co-advisor. His insights and in-depth understanding of core concepts pertaining to data science and machine learning helped me better my understanding of solutions to tackle challenges confronting my thesis. This note of gratitude is incomplete without thanking Ashutosh Sir and Sheetu Ma'am for being ever-so smiling and helping out with all the administrative formalities that came along. They have been extremely patient listeners to our woes ;-) and have always been proactive in resolving the issues, however trivial or serious they may have been. All in all, I would like to sum up my time at IIITD as an exciting, eventful journey that led us all to great, new avenues to explore our potential further. Needless to mention, this journey would not have been as joyous and fulfilling without the amazing and brilliant set of people I became friends with. I have emerged a better and more confident individual because of all my mentors (professors, friends, and parents). I wish IIITD the best always! The first phase was immensely enjoyable and I hope that the second phase of institute's expansion will be even better. I feel extremely proud to have been given the opportunity to address myself as an Alumni of IIITD, my Alma Mater! Thank you!

My 2 years journey at IIITD completed in a jiffy. But these 2 years will always remain the best learning experiences of my life. I myself can analyze how much I have grown as a person in this institute. I thank all my professors who gave me the best lessons of life. Apart from the course work, they taught me how to be always accessible to the people who need you even if you are very busy, they taught me how to be patient and many more such things. IIIT Delhi is an ultimate institute where you learn not only academics but how to manage your time, respect your deadlines - a much needed qualities in our outside world. Each and every member of IIITD has contributed in my growth. I feel myself so lucky that I got a chance to be part of this institute. I want to thank Dr. Vinayak Naik for being a wonderful guide throughout my MTech. He has always been an amazing advisor be it during thesis, course work, internship in a nut shell whenever I needed him. Rahul purandhare sir, PK sir, Sanjib sir, Debojyoti sir, pushpendra sir, I have learnt from all of you and thank you for being my mentors. This thank you note will be incomplete without mentioning Sheetu mam & Ashutosh Sir for being the pillars of IIITD. I still need to learn how you always smile and clear all the students silly doubts always. I want to see my institute to be India's best institute one day and given a chance I will like to contribute in any way possible to fulfill this dream. :)

Projects, assignments, TA duties, deadlines, thesis work, internship.. every little and big thing in IIITD has taught me the importance of research..of independent work..and above all..of creativity..! IIITD has given me PERSPECTIVE.. Thank you IIITD for coming into my life when I needed you the most.. Thank you IIITD for helping me grow as a person.. Thank you IIITD for making me who I am today.. Thank you IIITD!😊

I miss every corner of my college and will miss it forever.Starting from the class where I gained knowledge, the seats where I slept, the CCD where I used to sit for the whole day, working in the labs for whole nights.Then my hostel and my room which I can't explain in words, whole night chatting and watching movies with friends, the tennis court where we played cricket at nights, common room for cricket matches and deadlines with friends and everything I did, was the best part of my life. Feelings of every moment in last two years is indelible and unforgettable.It was the best phase of my life where I have learnt to live my life.

I thank IIIT for providing me with great opportunities and knowledge. Joining IIIT for M.Tech. was one of the best decision in my life. I would also like to thank Alex Sir for his valuable guidance in my thesis - he is a true, hard-working and the most geniune teacher I have ever met.

Coming to IIITD has opened the world of opportunities. It has been an overwhelming place for me to work and research. Dr. Angshul Majumdar, my mentor has been there, guiding me, teaching me and responsible for shaping my career.I feel extremely overjoyed to have shared this journey with great faculty and amazing friends.

So it's time, to reap out another Degree. Joining, "The IIIT-Delhi remained one of the best decision of last two years of my life. Leaving a job, to have a M.Tech. was a tough decesion, as M.Tech. is famous for joblessness. But taken a risk & at-last got something great. Not made many friends here, still whosoever I made friendship with, I tried to dedicate myself wholly. Many Highs & Lows, at personal & professional level experienced in these 2 years. All these experience made me tough (Slightly more stern with strangers & newcomers). Thank You, IIIT-Delhi for giving me these great moments. Without you, many of the moments would have never existed! IIIT-Delhi Convocation'16 is going to be soon. A Great Moment Indeed!
