Application Process

Admission through Joint Admission Counselling, Delhi (JAC) Admission through IIIT-D admission process using UCEED Rank Admission through IIIT-D admission process using XII score
The admission to B.Tech (CSE), B.Tech (ECE), B.Tech (CSAM), B.Tech (CSB), B.Tech (CSAI) and to some seats of B.Tech (CSD) and B.Tech (CSSS) will be done through Joint Admission Counselling (JAC Delhi). During joint counselling, admissions will be offered to candidates in accordance with IIIT-D merit list in different categories. Detailed instructions for joint counselling will be posted on the counselling site from time to time. The joint counselling portal ( will be activated around 10th June. Admission to some seats of B.Tech (CSD) will be based on applicant's UCEED rank. Bonus points are not applicable to this mode of admission . Admission will be based on the total marks obtained in class XII for best five subjects including Maths & bonus points as mentioned in brochure 2019.

Fee Payment

Tuition Fee (incl. Campus Maintenance) for B.Tech first year for 2019 admissions is under revision and the interested candidates are requested to keep visiting the Institute website for an update on the same. Please note that if you withdraw your admission on or before the last day of withdrawal, the amount of fees deposited by you will be refunded after deducting Rs. 1,000. In case you withdraw your admission after the last date of withdrawal , no refund of fee will be made except the Security deposit amount.

Further instructions regarding documents to be submitted at the time of reporting and fee payment details will be shared separately.


  1. No admissions will be done after the commencement of the classes even if some candidates drop out. Information and instructions for counselling, orientation, etc. will be posted from time to time on the Institute’s website.
  2. Tentative date of opening of admission process through JAC Delhi is May 17, 2019. Candidates are requested to keep visiting JAC-Delhi website for details.
