About the Batch

The BTech 2008 batch will be the first batch to pass out of IIIT-Delhi. There are around 52 students in the batch who will be graduating in April 2012. BTech 2008 students have seen the institute grown over time to its scale today and have participated in its progress. They have helped set up infrastructure and introduced co-curricular activities in the institute.
The MTech 2010 batch will see about 20 students completing their post graduation in April 2012. Being the first post-graduate batch to pass out from IIIT Delhi, these students have been instrumental in some of the important research done at the campus.

The inter-disciplinary approach to education helps students to grow as better human beings through compulsory community work and humanities courses. Students also articulate their views and ideas in functioning and governance of the institute through an elected student council. To enhance talents in areas besides academics, students have organized and participated in sports events like football and pool tournaments as well as cultural activities including SPIC-MACAY concerts.
